Family Beeb

Worker Beebs resemble small glassy purple orbs with four legs and two large, stalked eyes, and come in various sizes: small, medium, and large. They all attack by flashing a yellow color, and rolling to crush anything in their path. The small and medium ones only roll forward a short distance, but the large ones roll around continuously and can only be attacked when they are standing upright. Their entire body serves as a weakpoint, and when defeated, will harmlessly shatter apart.

Attacks Rolls into Pikmin to knock them down

The Lowly Rolyant is an enemy appearing in Pikmin V, with its connection to the Beeb only being made in its scientific name. Its appearance is reminiscent of a rolypoly, being plump with five violet segments and able to curl into a ball. Rolling is how it moves around and serves as its only form of offense, although it is nonlethal. Rolyants are encountered in select caves, most notably the Rolyant Lane that is named after them. In these locations, their behavior is to stop treasures from leaving the cave. Besides Rolyant Lane, where many are wandering about, they will only appear from holes in walls in groups matching the size of any treasure being carried. They will knock Pikmin off of the treasure by rolling into them, then uncurl and push the treasure back to a designated collection point in the cave.

Notes

Olimar's notes

While nonlethal and itself easy to kill, it is still a huge pest for collecting treasure in the areas it is found due to its large numbers and persistence. The only way to stop their advance permanently is to find and collapse the holes they emerge from, a task best suited for Orange Pikmin.

Louie's notes

Sometimes, cooking is about going with the flow. Appropriate to their lifestyle, the meat is perfect for balling or for making into a roulade. Whichever method you use, it's best to slow cook all day long on low heat.
