The Yellow Power Parasite is the electric member of the powerasite family. It is well known for jumping onto nearby creatures to electrify them if threatened. It pumps in positive and negative molecules of oxygen, causing electricity to surge throughout the host. The weakness of Yellow Power Parasites and their hosts is Yellow Pikmin, or any other Pikmin that resists electricity. Yellow Power Parasites, when alone, are completely harmless and can be killed quite easily by any Pikmin type.

- “A yellow power parasite looks like it pumps electrical energy in the host rapidly once it latches on. The energy surges through the host, enabling it to have sort of an electrical forcefield. It stops any pikmin but yellow pikmin and other electricity-resistant pikmin from attacking it.”
