The Brown Bulbear is a grub-dog appearing in Pikmin Ultimate X. It is a deranged type of bulbear that is extremely unpredictable, as once it appears to have established a patrol route, it creates another one immediately after and rushes anything in its path. They walk strangely similar to the Pikmin 2 incarnation of the Fiery Bulblax. They can eat up to 60 Pikmin at once with their large, ever-open mouth. They can also eat leaders, chewing on them for a decent amount of time and then spitting them out, removing half of their health in the process.

Attacks Eats Pikmin

The Grizzly Bulbear is a grub-dog that appears in Pikmin: New Frontiers. It is a relative of the Spotty Bulbear that has brown fur on its back and a pair of long fangs on its lower jaw. It appears in Glistening Snowdrift, Singed Craglands, and the caves Cold Burrow and Hole of Adjudication.

Outside of caves, they can be found sleeping, while inside caves, they are always awake and patrol their surroundings. If a nearby Dwarf Grizzly Bulbear is killed, it will immediately be alerted and path to its location. If it can't find the culprit, it will return to where it was sleeping or continue on its patrol route. When it first spots leaders or Pikmin, it will attack by roaring, then performing an open-mouthed charge at them, chomping down on leaders and Pikmin that get in the way. This attack does a lot of damage to leaders' suits, and it can easily consume a large amount of Pikmin. However, if the Grizzly Bulbear misses its charge attack, it will trip and fall to the ground for several seconds, allowing an opening for attack. It also has a normal attack where it bites at the closest Pikmin or leader, but only after the initial charging attack.
