The Closing Boombloom is a type of flower appearing in Pikmin: Spark. They are large red flowers that have a ring of large round petals in contrast to the thin blue petals of the Pocket Boombloom. They lie flat on the ground, normally docile, and twitch when something is on them. When senses a loud noise, such as a whistle, it closes up and then launches whatever may be on it to a specific area. Leaders may launch themselves, their Pikmin family, various enemies, and even bomb rocks.
