The Dromedary Bulborb is a species of grub-dog appearing in Pikmin Evolution. They get their name from the fact that they share various traits with the real-world dromedary camel, including shaggy fur, a long neck, and, of course, their signature large hump, while retaining the familiar jawline and eyestalks of a standard Bulborb. These grub-dogs live in deserts, herding around oases to drink the water they contain and eat the plants growing nearby. Unlike most Bulborbs, it doesn't eat meat, only plants, meaning it won't deliberately eat uprooted Pikmin. However, if a Pikmin is rooted into the ground, a Dromedary Bulborb will use its strong jaws to pluck and eat the Pikmin due to mistaking it for a root. The Dromedary Bulborb is otherwise quite docile for a grub-dog, as it often ignores captains and instead focuses on eating its favorite leaves and roots.

Due to all the water it drinks, the Dromedary Bulborb's hump is filled with water, and any major blow can cause the Dromedary Bulborb to spray that water out forcefully from its mouth. While this can be hazardous, as the water can drown any Pikmin in line with the jet, the water has several key uses that can be taken advantage of. Firstly, the water is highly pressurized, and so can be used to forcefully push objects such as iron balls and stone blocks. Secondly, the water is able to cool off lava, clean mud, and neutralize mold, making those surfaces safe to walk on. Be careful when applying force, however, as too much can harm the Dromedary and make it hostile, where it will use its long neck to sweep the ground and also crush its attackers, much like the Mammoth Snootwhacker uses its trunk. So to prevent that, encourage it with kindness such as by feeding it a Pikpik Carrot or Bulborel. Hit the hump with a lighter Pikmin such as the near weightless Wisp Pikmin as the Bulborb won't be damaged from it and it will calmly spray water. Bulborels in particular can be used to tame a Dromedary Bulborb, useful for accelerating the growth of plants and fungi being cultivated in settlements. They are also of great help during raids as their powerful water jets work wonders against many fire- and poison-based enemies. Notably, since the Dromedary Bulborb is naturally docile, it is one of the few creatures to never appear in a raid itself; only when it is forcefully ridden by an acolyte does it try to attack settlements. However, when the acolyte is taken off, it will immediately flee from the chaos. Dromedary Bulborbs are friends, not foes, and should be treated with respect and care.
