The Summer Dancer is a species of flower dancer appearing in Pikmin: Neo. Like its relatives, it is a flowering plant that has gained enough intelligence and evolved to the point it can move on land like an animal, this one having a yellow-green body, magenta flowers, orange eyes, and a lavender bud on its top, and hunting in more sunny areas like plains and savannas. During the day, it spends its time prancing about, skipping to the beat of its own drum, leaping over obstacles and uneven terrain in its path. These sights easily distract other smaller species of animals, which are then cruelly attacked. After jumping, it quickly descends onto them, skewering its prey on its spiked-tipped petals, making them unpredictable foes as their constant jumping makes them able to rapidly clear large distances and easily skewer Pikmin. They are even more dangerous at night when they congregate as they bounce Pikmin back to scatter them, greatly impairing movement. Like most other species of flower dancers, it shares a crippling weakness to fire, it also dropping several types of nectar when slain during nighttime.

Notes

Olimar's notes

This species of flower dancer likes to use its rounded petals to glide long distances. Some scholars debate if the whole family evolved from this individual by drifting into other biomes and evolving accordingly. To this day, no one can determine which species came first.

Louie's notes

With the advent of caramelization, you can convert this plant's dainty petals and make them into sweet flaky treats with only a small amount of condensed milk.
