Brittle Goliath Shrubs appear in Pikmin: A Light in The Dark, and break on contact with the player or more than six Pikmin. Goliath Shrubs can be broken to reveal enemies or treasures hidden under their leaves. These have been found to have pieces of exact genes in their chemical makeup as Dusk Goliath Shrubs and Dawn Goliath Shrubs, meaning that they are a dead, possibly grafted creation of both types.
