Pikmin: In the Hands of the World is a fanon game made by CJ-Does-Pikmin. It takes inspiration from Hollow Knight and Ori and the Blind Forest. It occurs during the Alpha Era of Pikmin: Planes of Life and follows the birth of a Celestial Pikmin, Chara. They wander across the Planes of Life in search of knowledge and to bring the Celestials back from slumber.

Story

Opening

The game starts with an introductory cutscene showing a view of the area around Chara, followed by a large amber crystal that shatters, leaving Chara on the ground with Prokoa, one of the Ancients, sitting with her front legs out. She welcomes Chara and begins instructing the player on how to walk around. Once the player is to follow Prokoa, she will tell them to meet her in town and rush off, leaving the player before a Tablet, with an instruction prompt in front of it telling the player how to read it. Reading it will play another cutscene, showing the player how to command Chara better. Continuing on, the player would encounter several Rolling Sheargrubs and Climbing Sheargrub that they would have to evade. Going further, the player would encounter a ladder. Climbing it would lead them to the town, where Prokoa waits. Walking through the main hub, Prokoa leads Chara to the main center with a strange floating cushion and the Clay Monk meditating on top of it. Chara walks over to the Amber underneath it and sits down as a blue glow surrounds the edge of the screen, and slowly fades in until there's only a crystallized blue pattern across the screen. Then an animation showing the Clay Monk plays, teaching the player about the history of the Planes of Life and what's currently going on. It ends with a spear flying towards Arkavus as he vanishes. Chara jumps out of the way as the player is instructed to pick it up. Then, a message will appear at the top of the screen telling the player how to attack.
