Adventure Cave is the first cave in Pikmin: The Winds of Light.
Story
As Olimar, the research pod, and the Pikmin fall, Olimar remembers the dangers of caves, but feels like this one won't be dangerous. They land in an expanse of grass, with little stones lining a path, as well as some ramps. They go and fight two Snow Bulborbs, and find a treasure that the Ship calls the Dragonic Statue. They go down the next hole. Yet another grassy expanse. A Violet Candypop Bud lies in the center of the area. A large crystal lies on a platform not far away. "Ah, Purple Pikmin!" The Ship says. "Throw Pikmin in so we can have them too!" Olimar throws in some reds, and then plucks the purples. He then goes to collect the crystal. "This Crystal of Radiance must have been what was emanating the signal. With the power of this crystal, I can take us to another area! Let us proceed at once!" the Ship comments. As Olimar heads to the geyser, he notices a large creature blocking his way. It resembles a Blowhog. The creature blows his Pikmin away. Olimar throws reds on top, but, somehow, it blows them off. Olimar throws purples this time. When the blowhog tries to blow them off, it cannot. Hmmm... Olimar thought, It appears that, due to its weight, Purple Pikmin can resist wind attacks. The defeated Blowhog drops a treasure, and, instead of deflating, the creature stays on the ground. "Interesting! We will commence studies with this sample as soon as possible!" mentions the Ship. The Pikmin finish up, picking up the treasure, dubbed the "Lost Star", and go in the geyser. The next day, they head to the next area. Story continues here...
