The Aquatic Hairy Bulborb is a member of the Grub-Dog family that lives in, by or on the water. Its hair protects it from harmful fish, as most types of fish on the Pikmin Planet do not like hair; however, the hair does have crustaceans and algae living in it which feed off of other micro-organisms trapped in its hair. The Aquatic Hairy Bulborb is constantly swimming around, or at least trudging in the water. Aside from directly eating your pikmin, it is a threat because of the organisms on its back. It is advised to use White Pikmin when this creature is on land, so the White Pikmin's toxins can repel the organisms.
