Beige Pikmin

Beige Pikmin first appear in Pikmin 2, as the fixth Pikmin type to encounter, after Yellows and before Blues. These Pikmin are the lightest Pikmin type, which enables them to walk on water, or weak terrain without trouble. They have beige-colored bodies and black beady eyes, as opposed to the normal-looking eyes most Pikmin types have. They are also slightly shorter than the other types. Like Purples and Whites, they have sprout magenta buds and flowers.

Abilities

Beige Pikmin are very light, and can be used to travel across bodies of water without drowning, or walk across broken glass without breaking it. However, they aren't thrown high like Yellow Pikmin, but they descend from their throw in a more slower, floaty way than the other Pikmin types. Beige Pikmin are slightly weaker than the others, dealing the same amount of damage as White Pikmin. Being that they're light, Beige Pikmin are capable of attack 1.5 times as fast as the other Pikmin types (sort of in between the normal attack rate of the other Pikmin types, and the attack rate when under the effect of the ultra-spicy spray). This makes up for their weak attack strength, and makes them a decent fighter choice. Interestingly, Beige Pikmin are immune to getting deflowered. When blown away by a Withering Blowhog, they get blown back much farther than the others, but don't lose the buds or flowers. It's possible that their lightweight saves them from this downgrade effect.
