Attacks Poisons Pikmin, crushes Pikmin, buries Pikmin

A large green Medusal Slurker with a blowhole-like organ on its “forehead”. It has an antenna topped with 4 small feathers. It floats high above the area it lives in, leaving a greenish shadow below it. It will occasionally make a loud noise, and extend its uvula-like membrane downwards, trapping all pikmin beneath it in the membrane, which it retracts into its body while lowering downward. After absorbing pikmin, it shoots them out of its blowhole at your pikmin crowd. When a shot pikmin lands, it is planted into the ground, and releases a burst of toxic gas, which poisons pikmin hit. Being hit by the launched pikmin directly will also kill a pikmin, regardless of poison immunity. After shooting somewhere between half and all of the pikmin it swallowed, it will repeat the absorbing attack. At about half health, it will spew poison clouds when it attacks with the uvula, and will spit out more pikmin when it attacks, as well as some rocks it pulls out of the ground when it uses the uvula.

Notes

Olimar's notes

This creature absorbs the noxious gasses that permeate the environment it lives in and incorporates it into its gelatinous body to make it almost completely unpalatable for most creatures. This general lack of predation allows it to grow to very large sizes. The toxic gas inside of this umblode helps it to partially digest larger nutrients inside it, a characteristic seldom seen in other members of the umbloda family.

Louie's notes

While its gelatinous flesh may seem tempting to make into the base of a pudding, instead, make use of its antenna instead, as the gas within the membrane is released when cooled. The feathery antenna makes an amazing garnish, as if heated for a short time, it can be used as a garnish, and it melts on your tongue, and has a very pleasant sweet-and-sour aftertaste that is sure to complement many a meal.

Shacho's notes

While it may not be as suitable for transport as its more translucent brethren, it could certainly be used as a carrier for much more unsanitary things. Like garbage or industrial waste. And the smell would be fully contained too!
