Mamuta larva are juvenile Mamutas, only ever being seen in caves. They spend their time slowly moving in their underground homes, waiting until they are called or see a Mamuta or other Mamuta larva being attacked, which then they grab Pikmin and chucked them onto the captain, causing the Pikmin to start hitting, they also have the ability to pluck Pikmin, allowing them to combo with the adults pretty easily.
They have small, gooey bodies, and slide across the floor with their slug like bottom half. kinda looking like a Bulborb larva, but slightly pinker and the upper half features of a Mamuta, they don’t have the red bands of the adults however, having a smooth and slimy feel to them.
They don’t have that much health, so swarming them with reds, purples, or rocks would destroy it immediately, in the case of it assisting a mamuta, quickly dispatching it with some purple slams, is the best course of action to prevent instant damage to the captain.
