Recently, users of Pikipedia and Pikmin Fanon have been discussing on what rules should be enforced for the shared chatroom. Please vote for one of the selections and if the third choice wins, we will go from there and propose a new rule set to Pikipedia.

Comments

Write any necessary comments below starting with a bullet point (*).

  • Can I ask what Pikmin Fanon's rules that are meant to apply to the chat are? 'Cause I'm getting information that the privacy policy doesn't/at some point didn't apply, or something. Never mind, Sir Pikmin answered me (the stuff at PikminFanon:Code of Conduct, only). GP 14:58, 19 August 2011 (EDT)

There seems to no consensus, so the best option is probably to vote on each rule individually (certainly enough people want there to be a page of written rules). I just discovered Pikipedia:Help:Chat#Guidelines, so I've summarised the rules in that list/the list here; feel free to add more. The corresponding page at Pikipedia is here.

Note that you're voting for whether you think the rule should be written down, and if you vote against a rule, you're not necessarily saying you think it should be broken. Or something. Comments help...

Just add a bullet point under each one starting with FOR, AGAINST or MEH (oh yes), then your signature, then a comment if you want. Reply to comments and put all other further discussion at the bottom. You might also want to read comments made by people at Pikipedia. GP 14:37, 5 November 2011 (EDT)

Be respectful (no discrimination/hate).

Keep confidential stuff you learn to yourself.

Look after the wikis (don't incite vandalism, don't spread lies harmful to their reputation).

No flaming (insults).

No swearing.
