This creature is a relative of the Honeywisp that seems to be red instead of pink. It holds a fireball at the bottom instead of a drop of nectar or a spray dose. This means that there's nothing to be gained for defeating a Firewisp other than a fireball that will break when it hits the ground and endanger non-red Pikmin. Like the Acidwisp, it too is agressive.
In PikSpore, it will drop the fireball when your Pikmin are underneath it. The fireball quickly regenerates, making beating this dangerous enemy difficult.
