The Acidwisp is a hostile relative of the Honeywisp appearing in Pikmin: Sinister Incinerator. Its insides are grey instead of pink, and it carries a drop of acid at the base of its body. If the creature is hit by a Pikmin, it will drop the acid bubble and flee. Unlike other creatures similar to it, this one is known to be openly antagonistic.

A relative of the Honeywisp appearing in Starmin, the Acidwisp drops acid onto Starmin, killing all types except for Pulsar Starmin. It can perform this attack only once, making the creature relatively easy to deal with, but it can slam onto the ground after the acid drop is gone to crush all Pikmin types except Asteroid Starmin.
