The Cornian Brute is a species of cornian that appears in Pikmin: The Cornian Invasion. The Cornian Brute, like most cornians, resembles an eyeball with a white sclera and black pupil. The creature has two giant, purple, metallic fists which float alongside its body, along with two dark green butterfly wings with green spots. The cornian wears a dark green hat with a double red star emblem and two white spikes protruding from it.
The Cornian Brute flies slowly and aimlessly around its territory. Once it sees Pikmin or a captain, however, it will immediately begin to pursue them. The Cornian Brute attacks by aiming one of its fist at its target, before launching it at the ground to crush said target. This attack can instantly kill all Pikmin types, and do great damage to captains. Once the first fist lands, it will launch its other fist at another target. This makes the Cornian Brute good at attacking multiple opponents at different locations. When both fists have landed on the ground, the Cornian Brute will fly lower to the ground for a few seconds, before retracting its fist back to itself, and flying up into the sky. The Cornian Brute can also launch its fists through the air to hit and potentially kill Cloud Pikmin, though they can retract their fists immediately when the attack is performed.
Cornian Brutes are very dangerous, but can be countered in many ways. Once a Cornian Brute slams its fist into the ground, Pikmin can attack the fist to break it. Although the fist of a Cornian Brute has a lot of health, it can be destroyed. Once both fists are destroyed, the Cornian Brute will attack by slamming its body into the ground, although this will only bury Pikmin and revert them into leaves. Another method is waiting for both fists to land, and when the Cornian Brute lowers itself from the sky, swarming it with Pikmin to kill it quickly. If a Hypno Pikmin hypnotizes a Cornian Brute, it will launch its fist at other enemies to crush them, although other enemies can destroy its fist as well.

Sure, they are powerful, but they are prone to breaking easily. That's why Cornian Brutes must be ready to take on enemies without their fists, which most of them are.”
