The Dwarf Purple Bulbear is a species of Bulbear appearing in Pikmin: Spark. They are exclusively found in Dens underground. As the name suggests their bodies have a deep purple hue to them with magenta-colored eyes and an indigo head. This coloration is given to them by their diet of Ultra-Bitter Berries given to them by their parents, as a byproduct of this, they tend to have issues with bad gas. More importantly, the diet of Ultra-Bitter Berries makes them immune to Ultra-Bitter Spray from captains, being the only enemy alongside its adult counterpart to have this quality. They are also immune to being poisoned by White Pikmin meaning there are fewer ways to deal with these creatures making them a more difficult variant as a whole.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

The extremely bad gas of this creature is both a contamination of my equipment and a contamination of my senses.

Lyn's sale review

The only good thing this beast makes is a deterrent for creepy stalkers, otherwise unsellable.

PIX's creature scan

Juveniles of the Purple Bulbear. Feeds on a diet of toxic berries. This gives them an eventual immunity to toxins and poisons. Does have bad indigestion as a result, however.
