The Acidic Emperor Bulblax, though similar in appearence, is in fact unrelated to the normal Emperor Bulblax. Its skin bears pale hues, but the Bulblax's hide is vivid and filled with color thanks to the thin layer of deadly acid. Because of this, Green Pikmin are the best for the job.
Killing Strategy
Unlike other Emperor Bulblax, Acidic Emperor Bulblaxes can be found above ground and asleep, much like a Red Bulborb. However, you should still approach with caution, as any Pikmin other than Green Pikmin will suffer from the acid. The best way to kill the Bulblbax is to start to continually throw Green Pikmin onto its back, then call them back when he shakes them off. once this happens, you shoud find a spot a good distance away from the Bulblax, for he wil lash out his tongue and circle around him, slurping up any Pikmin nearby. If there are any Acidic Bulbax around when you've done a good amount of damage to the emperor, he will summon them to attack you. Petrify the Bulbax with Ultra-Bitter Spray and order a small group of Green Pikmin to finish them off, then continue the cycle until the Acidic Emperor Bulblax is kaput.
Olimar's Notes
Though it is hard to notice at first, this creature's skin is covered with a layer of acid, presumably for protection against other species. Strangely enough, there always seems to be a group of Acidic Bulblax, which the Acididc Emperor Bulblax orders to attack me, much like I order the Pikmin that follow me. Upon closer inspection, it may be revealed that this creature is not of the Grub-Dog family... I shall study this species during my spare time.
