The balloons are filled with H⁻ and H₂; the sparks are the H⁻ trying to loose electrons so that they can become the more stable H₂. This is less strong than the [[Overcharge Blowhog]], but it is still dangerous to work around.

The real wonder here is that this is able to generate Chlorine ''metal''. Chlorine is highly reactive, and even less reactive elements cannot be formed into metal easily. The "energy balls" are actually balls of these metallic Cl ions, which even before getting released are sparking to turn into the more stable gas or ionic forms, and evaporating as room temperature is above Cl's boiling point. This makes the energy ball even more dangerous than initially apparent as any fight with the Anode Dirigibug will result in a room full of Chlorine gas. It is lucky that even the yellow pikmin are able to survive touching it directly.

This type of Dirigibug uses high voltage energy balls to attack instead of bombs. It is yellow with light green eyes and yellowish ballons. When it drops its energy ball, it'll explode causing smaller energy balls to scatter, instantly killing Pikmin except for Yellow Pikmin. Its flotation sack is also highly electric so any Pikmin besides yellows will instantly die when touching this beast.

How to defeat

The only way to kill this beast is by throwing yellows, no other type will work.

Yoshord's Notes

The balloons are filled with H⁻ and H₂; the sparks are the H⁻ trying to lose electrons so that they can become the more stable H₂. This is less strong than the Overcharge Blowhog, but it is still dangerous to work around.

The real wonder here is that this is able to generate Chlorine metal.

Pikoblitz: Raging Winds

In this game, they drop Static Bomb-Rocks and their bodies are not electric.
