Control Blowhogs are a new subspecies of Blowhog. Instead of blowing a hazard, they blow out controlling radioactive waves that will control Pikmin into following it.

Attacks

Control Blowhogs can shoot out radioactive waves to control Pikmin and make them follow it. However, unlike its other relatives, it cannot shake off Pikmin.

Areas

Control Blowhogs never appear above-ground. They are a rare enemy and only appear in the Water Mound and Hole Of Emperors. In Challenge Mode, they appear in the Blowhog Base.

How to Defeat

The Control Blowhog can be a very annoying enemy. One of the best strategies to use is to swarm it with lots of Red Pikmin. Since it cannot shake off Pikmin, you will have much more time to hit it. Call your Pikmin quickly as the blowhog might shoot out more waves. Repeating this strategy about 3 times should defeat.

Tricks & Tips

You can Speed-Throw Red Pikmin on the Control Blowhog's snout (its weak spot) to overwhelm it. You can also attack it from behind if it is not noticing. If you feel both of these tricks are too difficult, you can always get in the middle of the Control Blowhog and dismiss all of your Pikmin to try and defeat it.
