Just wondering what everyone else thinks about these and if they are getting them.

For me I'm definitely getting both. I'll do this one at a time to make it easier to read, starting with Black Ops.

For starters, Black Ops just looks amazing! It currently appears to fix all of the horrible balance issues from MW2 (Using the Commando perk you can knife someone from like 10 feet away. A knife is a one-hit kill. And don't get me started on weapon tiers!). It also takes place in a time period with amazing stories to tell that is completely ignored by good games, the Cold War. The trailers all fill me with intrigue because the whole game is based off of actual real-life Black Ops.

An let's not forget about Reach! I was a part of the demo they had, and it was very different from Halo 3 and ODST. It kinda copies Cod with the new classes they have implemented in lieu of the usual pick it up in the world armament system they have, but it works out well. The story looks interesting, it goes back to the start of the Halo story when The Covenant invaded the planet Reach and first made contact with Humans.
