Okay. So recently I've heared that the United States Congress wants to pass two new bills: Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA). They are intended at stopping online piracy, but in Wikipedia's opinion "they do so in a way that actually infringes free expression while harming the Internet". As a result of this, Wikipedia, Google, Facebook and a whole other lot of websites are protesting against this. They need all the help that they can get. Let's participate by blacking out our website for a certain amount of time to show we care. If they are passed, the Internet will be severely damaged and people won't be able to use it like they can now. The Internet needs to be free and open to everybody... It shouldn't be restricted so that people can't access information that they need or to have fun. So let's join the battle! PIPA is a bill being passed by the senate, not congress. User:Peanut64/sig
