Bit of a "spooky" one, so I suppose I should've saved it for Proggtober, but it's still good, it's still spooky, and I would've forgotten to make it by then. Also, I did a Piklopedia Entry for it! Well, part of a Piklopedia Entry, anyways. I should head to bed, I have no idea how many grammatical/spellikng errors I made. I'll start on the details tomorrow, like how the Mycelium hazard/subhazard works.)

The rare and elusive "Funghoul" is quite a sight to see, and hopefully one you don't. If ever you happen to see it, it will climb up to a high vantage point, stalking you and your Pikmin for several minutes. It eventually decides to leap down from it's vantage point, landing almost silently. If you see it now, it charges at you and your Pikmin, tripping if you happen to move out of the way. If you don't see it, it grabs some of your Pikmin, holding them captive and burning them in it's strong grip. Whether it tripped or is burning your Pikmin, it's open to attack, dying in a single throw from a Rock Pikmin or fused Sludge Pikmin, or in a single hit from any other Pikmin type. It drops the cap atop it's head, collapsing into a cloud of harmless spores that fall into the ground, creating Mycelium. However, this Mycelium will soon grow back into the very same Funghoul.

Olimar's Notes

Ok, this is just a bit too similar to the Plasm Wraith for me to even want to be near it's corpse. It's roughly Hocotoid, it can use multiple "elemental" abilities, it can shapeshift, and it never stops chasing you. However, it has one other trait: it always comes back. Hopefully it doesn't draw yet another parallel to the Plasm Wraith in that way as well.
