Goolanx is an boss-class enemy in Pikmin 4:Pikmin Adventure. It is made up of goolixes and Gloobs. It is found atop the Blob Tower, which is on the Blob Planet.
How to kill
When it shoots blobs of goo at you, sometimes the goo will form into a stepping stone so the active captain can climb up and toss pikmin at the glowing nucleus, which is the creature's brain. Repeat a couple times to defeat it.

It seems to be made up of goolixes and gloobs. I wonder how it got those goolixes to attach themselves to it...This may require further research.
