The Ivy Bulborb is a Spotty Bulborb subspecies in the fanon game Pikmin:The Escape. It has the general appearance of all other spotty bulborbs. The coloration of this bulborb varies. Most specimens have been seen to exhibit a green head with a yellow back. Others, however, exhibit pinkish heads with green eye stalks instead of plain green heads. All Ivy Bulborbs grow a poisonous variety of ivy on their back, however, so they can only be attacked by Lime Pikmin until they reach 50% health. Once this amount of health is reached, the ivy will fall off and they will be susceptible to attacks from all types of pikmin.

this creature has an amazing abtrute that i have never seen, it has ivy on it's back, it searches prey by letting out a scent which attracts it's faverate food: astroid bugs, then it keeps really still until a victim lands in it's mouth, then snaps like a hocotatian fly trap. after it's meal it sleeps until night, at night, it repeats it's tactic. a guess is that the ivy on it's back is for protection.
