Pikmin: Acid

Pikmin: Acid, takes place after a poisonous gas leaked out of the object that crashed. The Pikmin, seeing the gas, fled for their life. No captains came out of the capsule. Captain Olimar came back to visit his wonderful Pikmin. The toxic gas destroyed his fuel supply. He is now stuck on a more toxic PNF-404. Olimar is lost from his ship.

To progress in the game you must follow the path and discover a high cliff and a metal sheet and nuts. Then go back to your crash site where you will find a dark orange Pikmin investigating your crash. The Pikmin has a camouflage texture (search Camouflage Pikmin for more detail). He will then run across a metal bridge that wasn't there before. It is also over acid. If you follow him you will find him alone and a light brown-ish onion.
