Morphology

The morphology of Pikmin species vary a lot, from White Pikmin (白ピクミン) and Indigo Pikmin (胞子ピクミン)'s small size to Purple Pikmin (紫 ピクミン)'s large size. These are often due to living environments and nutritional inputs.


Most of the Cavahabini tribe members are small due to living in caves. Such examples are the aforementioned White Pikmin (R. Venalbius) and Indigo Pikmin (M. Celer), Very populous species of the Cavahabini tribe.
