The Sea Scythe is a metal object in Pikmin Forever, and one of the most common metal objects in the game. It is a fishhook. It begins appearing randomly after the Luxuriant Lakeside is unlocked, either sparsely scattered throughout areas or appearing randomly from defeated enemies. No instance of the Sea Scythe has a set location, and they can appear every day. As such a common treasure, it has a weight of 1, and only 1 Pikmin can carry it. It is also only 5 units worth of metal, the lowest value in the game.

Note to self: Instruct Pikmin on properly carrying this object, with extreme caution and with the sharp point in a safe orientation. Update: Be very careful storing this object and keep the sharp point away from the body. Update: Be MORE careful storing this object and don't just leave it lying on the floor of the hull.
