The Shore Dweevil is semi-aquatic, but spends most of its time buried in the sand waiting for the planet's strong tides to roll in. When approached, it emerges from the ground and wanders around for a bit. Whenever it's awake, it'll try to run off with whatever it can get its claws on, but it's not really confrontational and is afraid of Pikmin. In a pinch, the Shore Dweevil will burrow underground in an attempt to take down any Pikmin attacking it, killing them, so it's wise to whistle them back quickly.
