Behavior

PikSpore and Pikmin: Shadows of the Future: Sonic Bulblaxes do not sleep, instead they wander around the area. It attacks by firing a powerful sonic wave from its mouth at your Pikmin, deflowering them and knocking them away. Then, it eats them if they don't get up fast enough. It can also knock Pikmin into a hazard, so be cautious around these beasts!

Strategy to Defeat

PikSpore and Pikmin: Shadows of the Future: Swarming with large groups of Pikmin works in some of the games, but in games with Purple Pikmin or other such powerful species, it should be snuck up on from behind and Pikmin should be thrown in rapid succession onto its back, though be aware of the creature's increased health and mobility.
