From Pikmin Fanon

Here I have notes about creatures and objects.

Notes about creatures

Red Bulborb #001-C

This creature eats Pikmin and kills them. This is apparently a predatory instinct, however it is nocturnal, thus it has to eat Pikmin that are returning to Onions at night.

Dwarf Red Bulborb #002-C

A Breadbug family mimic of #001-C, this creature is smaller and diurnal, meaning it is awake during the day, not at night. It can only eat 1 Pikmin at a time. I have noticed that it will die to a single Pikmin landing directly on its back... Perhaps this can be used to one's advantage. #004-P clings while it dies, but it cannot be eaten while still clinging.

Spotty Bulbear #003-C

They are relatives of the Bulborb. However, this stronger variation can eat more Pikmin per gulp. Also, it usually has #004-C following it.

Dwarf Spotty Bulbear #004-C

These resemble miniature #003-C - and, in fact, DNA comparison shows it is actually a larval #003-C in its third to sixth stage or development. However, it is too different from the adults to be classified as a member of the same species. DNA comparison also shows that the species has nine development stages. Close observation is needed to find the other four stages.

Pellet Posy #005-C

This odd flower apparently grows pellets on top of it. Pellets can also be found without a posy, but the posies are more common. It is quite possible pellet posies grow in hard-to-reach places and drop their pellets overnight. This is supported by the fact that pellet posies die overnight, whether or not the pellet was harvested. They take two-thirds of a day to grow. Interestingly, though vulnerable to attacks, this plant has no attacks of its own.

Notes about objects=

Pellet #001-O

Pikmin take these back to Onions to produce more of themselves. There is a number on top that indicates how many Pikmin are needed to carry it. Pellets can be red, yellow, or blue. When brought to an Onion of the same color, they produce Pikmin by the number on the pellet; otherwise, it produces half its number, rounded up (i.e. a 5 pellet makes 3 Pikmin when brought to a different-colored Onion but 5 when brought to the same-colored Onion)- thus, it is better to direct each pellet to the matching color Onion. Perhaps different color Pikmin need different nutrients.

Notes about Pikmin and related species

Red Pikmin #001-P

This Pikmin is red and has a long pointy nose. It appears that red Pikmin cannot be burnt. Also, they take shelter in Red Onions overnight. These Pikmin have white Buds and Flowers with yellow in the middle.

Yellow Pikmin #002-P

These Pikmin are lighter than the others. They can hold small bomb-rocks but not big ones, and they are immune to electricity... Also, they can be thrown higher. Their big ears my help with being thrown. Further investigation is necessary to determine if their large ears actually help with their hearing. They have a Yellow Onion to take shelter in overnight.

Blue Pikmin #003-P

Blue Pikmin have what resembles a mouth, but is actually gills on their cheeks. This allows them to survive in water... So I should use them when battling in water. I have found they have the ability to take shelter in a Blue Onion overnight.

Purple Pikmin #004-P

These Pikmin have what resembles hair on their head. They are also very fat, which allows a single one to carry an item that would take 10 other-color Pikmin. However, this also makes them extremely slow, so take caution not to leave one behind. Interestingly, this Pikmin has no Onion.

White Pikmin #005-P

Their small selves have red eyes, which apparently allows them to detect buried objects. They are also poison-resistant and apparently have poison in them, as enemies take damage when they eat them. They also do not have an Onion.
