Volitarium

Volitarium is a mineral found in Pikmin: Louie's Revenge. It is the mineral Olimar and company are trying to get rid of throughout the game. It has a very unstable molecular structure, and, as such, reacts randomly with different organisms and environments. The reaction most noted in the game is its overly positive reaction with insectoid creatures. Upon consuming Volitarium, insects become "Volitarinised," rendering them indestructible and a bright gold color.
