The Gunship Groink is a groink with the ability to fly appearing in Pikmin: Hybrids. It is a winged groink and has two cannons jutting out of its cheeks, one on each side of the front of its face. It flies about to position itself and lands to attack. Purple Pikmin are effective against it because they can stun the creature. It was inspired by the vehicles in Star Wars called Republic Gunships.

- “The gunship groink prowls its territory looking for prey. It has been known to host volatile dweevils in its body and ferry them from place to place. What benefit the groink gains from this symbiotic relationship is unknown.”
