A variety of sprays can be collected and equipped in Pikmin: Distant Planet. Of course, the game can be beaten without using any sprays, but it's to your advantage to go and gather spray berries. They can help keep you and your Pikmin safe. The catch is, some sprays may be less potent, such as Ultra-Bitter Spray and Ultra-Stealthy Spray. Plus, some sprays are extremely rare and therefore become for difficult to stock up on, like Ultra-Tasty Spray.

Ultra-Spicy Spray

When ten red berries are mixed, they produce one dose of this spray. It provides some form of sugar that invigorates Pikmin under your control for 30 seconds, causing them to perform all actions at super-speed for a brief moment.

Ultra-Bitter Spray

When ten purple berries are mixed, they produce one dose of this spray. It has been known to quickly go from gas to solid and form a constricting barrier around some creatures, but don't rely on this. It'll only hold them for up to five seconds. The purple berries in the explored region of the Distant Planet must be less potent than in Pikmin 2 and Pikmin: Sinister Incinerator.

Ultra-Sugary Spray

When ten yellow berries are mixed, they produce one dose of this spray. Yellow berries contain similar sugar compounds to drops of nectar, and when mixed together, the resulting spray immediately causes all Pikmin under your control to reach the flower stage.

Ultra-Refreshing Spray

When ten green berries are mixed, they produce one dose of this spray. The gas quickly becomes solid and infuses with damaged pilot armor, restoring up to 25% of the damage, although it may sometimes be less than that.

Ultra-Tasty Spray

When ten blue berries are mixed, they produce one dose of this spray. It has such a delicious scent that a downed pilot will spring back up with completely restored confidence. However, the pilot's armor must still be restored or else he'll be down in the next hit. Be careful- don't spray this near a defeated Spotty Bulbear or Gatling Groink (or any other regenerating foe) or they'll recover all of their health and start attacking!

Ultra-Stealthy Spray

When ten grey berries are mixed, they produce one dose of this spray. It covers your pilots and all Pikmin in your party with a temporary mist that may cause some enemies to ignore you and your Pikmin for about 30 seconds. Don't rely on it, though. Usually, the instinct of most enemies is sharp enough so that they'll know Pikmin are nearby. However, if you're proceeding through terrain with burrowing insects, they won't emerge from the ground if the party is cloaked in this spray.
