Is there really a point to Jungle Pikmin in P44? They are completely outclassed by Rock Pikmin, the only thing they can do that Rock Pikmin can't is latch onto walls and enemies, but that doesn't really matter since their damage is low - MPA^(Talk)

Although Rock Pikmin can't be killed by thorns, they won't be able to deal any damage to thorn enemies or cross through thorny brambles or thorny floors. Meaning that only Jungle Pikmin can defeat Thorny Bulborbs, Thorny Mawdads, and Barbed Crushblats. In addition, Trickly Pears, Spike Dweevils, and Porquillions are much easier and safer to defeat with the help of Jungle Pikmin. Add that to the fact that Jungle Pikmin are the only types able to cross thorny brambles, and Jungle and Winged Pikmin are the only types to cross over thorny floors. Thorny brambles can also be burned by a fire starter, however, very few situations arise within the game. PurpleHeadache 01:38, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
