When the Clamclamp opens, it reveals a shiny golden pearl over a [[Fire|flaming]] red tongue. [[Red Pikmin]] are the only [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] that can steal its pearls without being burned. To counteract the strength of Red Pikmin, the membrane surrounding the pearl is much thicker and more durable than the [[Pearly Clamclamp]]'s due to the creature's high vitality, making collecting the pearl more dangerous overall due to the clamclamp's constant closing of its shell. The Steamed Clamclamp is a species of oysnap appearing in Pikmin: Spark. It is encountered within underground dens. It has a glossy, almost marbly shell with four small holes on the top, from which steam is vented from the insides of the clamclamp. When the Clamclamp opens, it reveals a shiny golden pearl over a flaming red tongue. Red Pikmin are the only Pikmin that can steal its pearls without being burned. To counteract the strength of Red Pikmin, the membrane surrounding the pearl is much thicker and more durable than the Pearly Clamclamp's due to the creature's high vitality, making collecting the pearl more dangerous overall due to the clamclamp's constant closing of its shell.
