Only his grandfather's and mother's personalities are specifically mentioned. Dell is reminded of his grandfather in Crystal Caverns, stating "Something about this area reminds me of my grandfather. He always loved to hike mountains. And he was quite interested in minerals." Dell mentions his mother when commenting on the Spiky Delight: "The exterior of this fruit reminds me of my mother's hair.
