The aerasite family consists of winged reptilian creatures.

Gatorgull

The Gatorgull resembles a cross between a pelican and a reptile, and can step on Pikmin and spit up puddles of acid.

Terrordactyl

The Terrordactyl flies about, tossing or dropping boulders and bomb rocks onto Pikmin.

-The Dytweezer is a very large pterodactyl-like enemy. It has an enormous upturned beak with several small peg-like teeth at the end. Its orange beak has a toucan-like series of rainbow-colored stripes at its tip. It has a comparatively small vulture-like head with tiny yellow eyes and pink skin. It also has a small, beet-red crest on the end of its head. It has a vaguely heart-shaped pale-yellow mane of feathers around its neck and a round, black body with two long yellow legs with clawed feet and two massive wings that are double the size of its tiny body. The wings are connected to the legs by a membrane of skin and blue and scarlet red stripes connect the arms with its feet. There are three clawed fingers on its wings and an extra-long fourth finger that supports the rest of its wings. It also has a long, stiff tail that sticks out directly behind it and has a large tip resembling a spade on a playing card. It also has a dark magenta tongue in its mouth.

-The Terrordactyl is a boss that resembles a pterodactyl with a purple skin hue, yellow eyes, and sharp teeth and claws. The boss will attack the player by throwing [[Boulder|boulders]], [[Bomb rock|bomb rocks]], and even giant bomb rocks from above as it flies around. The boulders will split into smaller rocks that roll around the arena. The only way to take down the Terrordactyl is using a [[pikapult]]; putting [[Pikmin]] and one end and throwing a [[Purple Pikmin]] on the other, to launch Pikmin at the beast until it is weighed down and falls to the ground.
