Megahorns are bosses in Pikmin: The Insect Gourmet. They sleep in place until attacked, at which point they will begin to rapidly grab and consume Pikmin, as well as occasionally roaring. They also will attack and instantly kill Sirenheads. Sirenheads killed in this way will also have their corpses consumed, and Megahorns will drop the corpses of every Sirenhead consumed when killed. Destroying the antenna on top of the creature will blind it, causing it to no longer be able to detect you or your Pikmin.
