Caudifuge family

The caudigue family consists of scorpion-like creatures with a head in place of a stinger at the end of their tail.

Glossy Periscorp

The Glossy Periscorp is a skeleton like creature with a hard, black plating and its head being located on the end of its tail. The creature has pincers, but they are not in commission. Instead, the Periscorp will jab with its head to consume Pikmin; its head being its only place of attack using Yellow Pikmin.

Obsidian Periscorp

Main article: Obsidian Periscorp

The Glossy Periscorp is a skeleton like creature with a hard, black plating and its head being located on the end of its tail. The creature is much more larger, serving as a Periscorp boss. Its head is now out of reach; being unable to attack. To move the head to throwing range, the leader must dodge the Periscorps claws while it attacks and droops its head for attacking.
