The Aerodentia contains bat-like creatures, such as the Phosbat. The most well-known member of this family is the Vehemoth Phosbat.

The Phosbat is the first member of the Aerodentia family encountered in Pikmin 3. it can eat Pikmin, and disintigrates in light.

The Vehemoth Phosbat is the boss of Distant Tundra. It can eat Pikmin and pick them up.

Fishing Phosbats are commonly found near a water source, and will occasionally dive into the water to snatch up small fish or Pikmin.

Phosbat Larva are Phosbats in the Larval Stage. They will attempt to eat Pikmin by nibbling on their leaves.
