Appearance
- Pikmin: Distant Planet
- The Blue Bulborb is blue with white spots and has the same-colored face as a Red Bulborb.
- Pikspore
- They resemble their Distant Planet counterparts, but have slightly more health. They appear in colder regions.
- Pikmin 3, the dweevils revenge
- The Blue Bulborb in this game appears to be blue with green spots and have what seem to be gills not similar to the Blue Pikmin.

Pikmin: Distant Planet
The Blue Bulborb is blue with white spots and has the same-colored face as a Red Bulborb. This creature is another supposed color of Red Bulborb like the Yellow Bulborb and this creature is said to be blue depending on its native region, while it may appear red or yellow in others. As with red and yellow ones, Blue Bulborbs also have a breadbug mimic.

- Yet another grub-dog subspecies, the blue bulborb has slightly thicker skin, preventing major damage from smaller creatures. Unlike the hairy bulborb, which gets its warmth from the thick fur that covers its back, the blue bulborb uses a retractable sail like an air conditioner, warming its body when it is cold, and vice versa. Studies indicate it is one of the oldest bulborb species, dating back to prehistoric times.

In this game they have slightly more HP but bite less often. They appear in wettest woods.

Strategy to defeat
- Pikmin 3, the dweevils revenge
- Attack them just as you would any other bulborb except because they have more HP i would use Purple Pikmin.
