The Bumperstool family is the fan term for a group of specialized mushrooms that-re capable of being bounced on.

Bouncy Mushroom

Bouncy Mushrooms are large, flat, red mushrooms. Leaders, Pikmin, and even enemies that land on their caps are bounced off of it and onto a pre-determined spot, even if it is another mushroom in a chain. The angle of the mushroom's cap is responsible for this. Anything that lands on the cap of a Bouncy Mushroom will be launched by it, regardless of what part of it they touched.
Super-Bouncy Mushroom

The Super-Bouncy Mushroom is a large fungus and is very similar to the Bouncy Mushroom. It has a blue cap, a green stalk, and can launch whatever lands on its cap much farther than a normal Bouncy Mushroom.
