Filtration devices are obstacles in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. Appearing throughout the Defiled Grounds, these large machines are always adjacent to a body of polluted water and are initially deactivated as their circuits are broken. Yellow Pikmin can be used to connect the circuit and activate the filtration device, which will immediately start siphoning out the pollutants from the water and making it safe for Blue Pikmin and leaders to swim in.
