Flitterby

Flitterbies are large butterfly enemies that will come out in some areas at night for a somewhat rare chance, or a somewhat rare chance of appearing in a dungeon/cave. They aren't anything too special, but they glow many different neon colors that make them stand out against the dark background. They are dealt with and defeated like the ordinary Unmarked Spectralids, and they aren't worth anything extra.

Note

The shining neon color patterns of the Flitterbies are supposed to remind people who played Pikmin 2 of the strange multicolor confetti that would rain down on the screen when a cave was completed.
