Furious Fields

Furious Fields is the third area found in Pikmin 3 (Flish Edition). This area is actually the Perplexing Pool, which dried up and became a desert after the events of Pikmin 2. The layout of the map is similiar, but the pure water is gone and everything is covered in sand. The only enemies in this area that were found in Perplexing Pool in Pikmin 2 are Shearwigs. Several pools of muddy water are found around the stage, each one harboring at least one Sand Dumple. Tan Pikmin are discovered here. The area is unlocked after the Real Painting is found. Furious Fields has only three rings for Onions to land on, despite there being 8 available onions in the game. Therefore, one must choose which three onions to take down to the area each day they explore it. This, of course, does not pose a problem until at least four onions are discovered.
