Lava Dumples are a new species of Grub-dog that dwells inside pools of lava and magma. The won't leave their lava bedding unless hunting for food or boredom. Since it lives in lava most of it's life, it can't take water. If found with water, it could die. Red Pikmin are necessary to defeating it. They are colored red with green lips.

"This species of Grub-dog loves to settle inside of volcanic waste and lava remains. They like to eat coal but will feast on insects and Pikmin on volcanic swamps. They are born within lava and will stay in it as such."
