A secret boss that resides far inside Altitude Springs, the Mossy Long Legs is almost identical in appearance to the Beady Long Legs, but it is bumpy and brown, covered in some green moss, and has plants and mushrooms growing on it. It walks slower than the Beady Long Legs, but has an additional attack. When it ducks down, it also opens up its body as if it died, and drops a blob of acid on anything below it, killing Pikmin that get hit except for Greens. To make matters worse, the blob explodes upon contact with the ground, splattering more acid everywhere. It is recommended that you only use Green Pikmin to attack and kill this mighty foe.

When killed, the Mossy Long Legs leaves behind a shiny green orb that can be brought back to the Onions for a large amount of Pikmin.
