The Sandy Bulborb is an enemy in Pikmin: The After Years. It is a bulborb-like being made entirely of sand. The Sandy Bulborb has brown eyes, pink fangs, and three brown stripes that stretch across its back. It attacks mainly by eating Pikmin, and if it feels particularly threatened, it may jump to create a cloud of sand that suffocates Pikmin. It can also create a cloud of sand by shaking Pikmin off of itself. Once the Sandy Bulborb is defeated, it disintegrates into a pile of sand that cannot be taken for Pokos or seeds. They also have a dwarf counterpart.
Strategy
Purple Pikmin can stun this creature. Leaders can also be used because they cannot be suffocated by the sand.
